ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is System Administrator Appreciation Day which exists to give some recognition to the hard working guys and gals that assure your computers, printers, and servers are working and in good condition. These nerds and geeks are working behind the scenes, often not appreciated or even thought of, until a computer or an internet connect goes down.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
We deceive ourselves when we believe that only weakness needs support. Strength needs it far more.
Anne Sophie Swetchine
I do appreciate those that give me a helping hand when my computer isn’t working right. Thankfully any one of my sons can usually answer any questions I might have. They are all pretty computer savvy. My computer is getting old but still working thanks to my system administrators.
Computers have definitely changed over the years and they’ve also helped me keep up with the changes too. It seems that every time my system updates, there will be a change or two that I need help with.
Life is always full of changes of all kinds, but when you have people to support you it makes them a lot easier to adapt to. My support system is my family, friends and my faith. They are the important things in my life. That is one thing that never changes.
Today is prep day for me as I’m getting things ready for a little celebration that I’m having tomorrow in order to thank all those that helped and supported me with all the downsizing and the big move I made. It wouldn’t have been possible with out all their help. Not all of them will be able to attend, so I’d like to say a Big THANK YOU for your help. It is very appreciated!
It’s a double celebration weekend here as there will also be birthday party for our little Precious One this evening. It’s not always that I get to celebrate a birthday with my grandchildren, but this is one I get to participate in person. Her actual birthday isn’t until August 1st. Hopefully I’ll have lots of pictures of her party to share with you all then.
Todays pictures are a few of the very first I received of her. My goodness, now she will be 3 years old.
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday!

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Seems like a fun weekend planned for you, Ma! It is amazing how fast the little ones grow up!

What a beautiful little girl. They grow so fast, don't they? I am so thankful for all of the people who keep my computer going too. What would I do if I could not be with all my blog friends and my INTERNET. And I love milk chocolate!! Have a good weekend Ma!
What a gorgeous baby she was, I am sure she is gorgeous almost 3 year old too!
Her older brother is a cutie too.
That brownie recipe sounds good.
xx
3 y/o already! Like my DIL says, Time is a thief.
I figure our system administrators must have mighty thick skin. Like the Maytag repairman, no-one gives them much thought until we hit the panic button! You're so fortunate to have sons who 'get' it. When something goes awry, DH and I are both at a loss.
