Life is a Special Occasion!

Today, Walk Around Things Day, is an important day to avoid problems and risks, by simply walking around the potential problem. You wouldn't walk under a ladder, would you? Then, it is also wise to walk around objects, especially those that pose risk or danger.
To walk around things can also be used figuratively. It is also wise to walk around, or avoid, topics issues, and problems that are sticky, may provoke an argument, or are not readily solved.
If ever was a day to 'Walk Around Things', today is that day. Take this wonderful concept and the lessons it teaches you, and give them a good walking around!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Worrying is stupid. It’s like walking around with an umbrella waiting for it to rain
We walked around the fact that it was very cold outside last Saturday a week ago when my family got together to celebrate Easter. We were a week early and it was still March. Today’s pictures are just a few of our celebration. Tomorrow I’ll share more and they will be of our Easter Egg hunt. There was some lingering snow on the ground at that point.
Thankfully we’ve had some warmer days here this week and I was able to get outside and do some much needed yard work. The poor little tulip tops were trying to grow up through a layer of leaves. They say this weekend we are to be in the 40’s and 50’s so thankfully it will be much warmer than the 20’s we experienced last weekend.
The Full Pink Moon of April will be seen today. It is named for the wild ground phlox that is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring. Other names for this moon were the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon and, among coastal tribes, the Full Fish Moon, when the shad came upstream to spawn. This month will also feature a total lunar eclipse, which is set to occur early in the morning with the duration of totality lasting less than 5 minutes. This is also the Paschal Full Moon, the first full moon of the spring season. The first Sunday following the Paschal Moon is Easter Sunday, which indeed will be observed tomorrow on Sunday, April 5th.
Today, I’ll be walking around with my sun glasses on. Looks like it will be a sunny day here !
Hope you all have a Super Saturday!

COUNTING MY GIFTS
Making the decision to have a child - It's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
2640. for all the wonderful things I have to walk around here each day. Spring is making an appearance.
2641. for memories of a very happy day
2642. for temps in the 50’s, much better than 20’s

ADVICE FOR TODAY
Success is not a destination, but the road that you're on. Being successful means that you're working hard and walking your walk every day. You can only live your dream by working hard towards it. That's living your dream.

Princess is growing, losing her "little girl" looks and maturing into a beautiful young woman! It is good to walk around things, like you all did with your celebrating last week. I know we are still walking around boxes here from our recent move :)
I will look for the full moon tonight. Last night I thought it was full since it looked like it was, beautiful here in the sky.
Glad it warmed up a bit for you!

You have a lovely family...but I'm sure you already know that...don't you.
Happy Easter.

Pam what a lovely picture of you and your family! Todd saw the moon last night when he was on his way home from picking up Ariana at work and he said it was beautiful.
Happy Easter to you and your family. He's alive! xoxo
