Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
International Juggler's Day is always on April 18th. International Jugglers Day celebrates the skill of juggling, and those talented people who can juggle many balls and objects at a time. Common objects include: balls, clubs, swords, plates, rings, and flaming sticks. The best jugglers can juggle up to ten balls at a time.
Juggling is a skill and form of entertainment that has been around for thousands of years. Juggling is primarily entertainment. It is most well documented in Medieval times in Europe. It remains popular today. It can be most frequently seen when the circus comes to town.
Some might suggest that those that multi task and keep several balls, projects, going at the same time on the job are jugglers too.
Celebrate Juggling Day by watching a juggler at work. Better still, get several balls and give juggling a try. You never know, you just might be a talented juggler!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls – family, health, friends and spirit are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.
Who says you need to be in a circus to juggle? I’ve been a juggler in my day. I’ve often had to do several things at one time. I worked in an office and I am a mom of a large family. Juggling between home and work is a gift in itself. I think moms are probably the best jugglers of all.
Now a days, I’m more of a single tasker. It could be that the only thing I can do at the same time as I do something else is pray. Prayers are often part of every thing I do. I’ve learned that about the only way I’m going to get anything done is to take it slow and easy. And if I’m going to do it well, it takes a lot of prayer.
Today is supposed to be another warmer sunshiny day here today. We are actually beginning to see some green leaves on the trees now. I hope you all have a super Saturday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The trick to juggling is determining which balls are made of rubber and which ones are made of glass.
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
2682. for prayer, it works
2683. for the ability to still do what needs be done
2684. for my family, health, friends and my faith, the glass balls in my life
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY

Great post! juggling the important aspects of my life isn't worth the gamble. Better keep my priorities straight.
Have a super weekend.

Yea with the green leaves and the warmer weather!! So true we do juggle things in our lives; right now I'm juggling reading blogs, planning meals for next week, writing a shopping list, getting ready to get cleaned up for the day :)
I always wished I could juggle, always fun to see them juggling not just balls but when they get sophisticated and juggle fire sticks, etc.

That's such a neat story about the 5 different balls. Who can't identify with one or all?
I like to think I've never taken my career so seriously (always choosing a background supporting role). This made me think of a certain lady who I admire tremendously - the President of our (former) parent company. We're almost exactly the same age, yet Sue chose to forego marriage and a family for her career. I remember asking her when she last enjoyed a vacation and she replied, "Oh, it's been years." So sad. Unfortunately, when our company was taken over by a giant corporation, Sue was dismissed. That's been 3 years now, and thank God, she's just begun to regain her moxie.
Sorry to ramble on so! I shared that quote on my FB page. Perhaps it might impact another!
