Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
April 24th, 2015 is National Arbor Day
Arbor Day is not like other holidays. Each of those reposes on the past, while Arbor Day proposes for the future.
J. Sterling Morton, the originator of the Arbor Day idea.
Arbor Day is the annual observance that celebrates the role of trees in our lives and promotes tree planting and care

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn
Ralph Waldo Emerson
I do appreciate the value of a tree and miss the ones we once had here in the back yard. There is now no shade on hot summer days. The front yard has a shady porch to sit on and there is a tree and some bushes there. Right now the trees in our area are beginning to bloom and what a wonderful sight they are. Sometimes I think Spring just couldn’t get anymore beautiful. Every day something new is growing or blooming and new life is all around us.
Life is like a growing tree. The deeper its root, the stronger it will remain.
You can’t blossom without roots.
Even in chaos there is always a path.
Know how to listen without talking back.
Seeing the big picture helps you deal with the little things.
Branching out makes you stronger inside.
If you want company you have to reach out.
The more you stand together the more beautiful the scenery.
Trees do teach us much about life. I’m very thankful for them, especially in the spring when the leaves begin to appear and buds begin to bloom.
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Happy is the man ... his delights is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a
tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in
its season, and its leaf does not wither.
Psalms 1: 1-3
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
2700. for trees that shelter and delight us
2701. for beauty all around us this time of year
2702. for the gift of another Spring to enjoy
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Just like a tree that sways to the strong winds; gets drained due to the rainy storms; Yet, stays strong with strong roots without falling to the ground. Let us stay strong with a strong heart and mind.
Let’s us not be weak during adversity. Let us not be evil either. Let’s be the ones that others will seek a shoulder on. Give shade to the ones who seek love and empathy. The one who will stay calm and see the light during the darkness.
Then we will gain wisdom, earn respect from our peers. Grow and reach the sky.
Just like the tree, that tries to do the same.
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

Beautiful blooms with the trees! So true about how life is being like a tree; got to have good roots to grow and both you and me have good roots in God :)
I remember the kids bringing home little trees to plant on Arbor Day.
