Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
April 10th is National Sibling Day. It is a day to appreciate and cherish your brothers and sisters. Siblings are truly a special blessing that we probably all too often take for granted. They are often our best friends and supporters through life. Not everyone is lucky enough to have siblings. Their lives are significantly different growing up, and throughout life.
Celebrate National Sibling Day in a variety of ways. It's a great time to be thankful for your sibling. But, most importantly to get in touch with your siblings.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Sisters are different flowers from the same garden.

It’s very appropriate that we are celebrating Siblings Day as today I’m going to lunch with my two sisters. We’re celebrating their birthdays. The actual date isn’t until next week, but today is the day that was best for both of them. Sometimes it’s not easy to find time to get together, but it is important to make time.
They were both born on the same date, two years apart. They are both younger than me. It wasn’t always easy to be the big sister when we were young, but I’m very thankful that I have them. We are all 3 so different yet the bond we share is one that will never break. They are two of the best friends that I’ll ever have.
The pictures today are of 3 of my children and their families at church on Easter Sunday. There is also one of me and some of my grandchildren. Believe me when I say I am very blessed.
We’re hoping for a break in the rain today. The Cleveland Indians baseball season opener is today and it is hoped they will be able to play. I don’t go to the games, but I do follow them on the radio or TV. Baseball is probably one of my favorite sports, if I had to name one. Truthfully though I’m not much of a sports fan.
The good news is that it is supposed to be a sunny weekend.
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday !

All the kids are getting so big, but I guess that's what they do :)
How neat your sisters were born on the same day 2 years apart. I wonder how they felt about it growing up. Glad you get a chance to spend time with them today celebrating!
Siblings are our first friends, I don't see mine much but always enjoy it when I do!

Wonderful pictures!
Happy birthday to your sisters. I was the oldest of four. Not easy for sure.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I have only one sibling left, a brother with dementia who no longer knows my name, but can still remember me, a little. I'm so glad I still have him!
