Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
June 29th is Hug Holiday Day. Its a day for us to give hugs to those who need them. On this day, people go out and give hugs at senior citizen centers, hospitals, and other places. The focus is upon elderly, sick and invalid, lonely people and anyone who needs the warmth, cheer, and love that a hug provides. Hug Holiday is founded on the premise that hugs, friendship and volunteer support are vital components to the overall senior care plan. If you or someone you know needs a little TLC right about now, you’re in luck! It’s Hug Holiday Day!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A hug is like a boomerang - you get it back right away.
Bill Keane, Family Circus
There is truly nothing quite like a hug and I give and get them every chance I get. Hugs are not only free to give, they have numerous benefits for the hugger and the recipient as well. They not only reduce stress and lower the heart rate, but also lower blood pressure and improve your mood. Plus, hugs feel very good, too!
Today is going to be another hot day here in Ohio. Temps close to 90 or above are in the forecast with rain coming our way too. It’s going to be a lazy summer day for me.
Hope you all have a restful and relaxing Sunday.
A Sunday well spent brings a week of content.

COUNTING MY GIFTS
A hug is worth a thousand words.

I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for over a year and have now reached over 1800 gifts. On my way to 2000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1805. for hugs that cheer us up

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
A hug delights and warms and charms,
that must be why God gave us arms.

Try to stay cool and here's a (((HUG))) for you!!
I like that proverb, a Sunday well spent brings a week of content. That is so true I do believe. We do relax Sunday afternoons after church, it is always a good way to wind down before the new week begins.
Stay cool if you can!
