Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
June 3rd, Repeat Day, is an opportunity to do things over and over again. Repeat Day is an opportunity to do things over and over again. Hee, hee
Hopefully you will choose to repeat things you enjoy doing. Pick a wide array of foods, snacks, and activities, and repeat them today. As a matter of fact, it's perfectly okay to repeat them over and over again today. It's also perfectly okay to avoid dong things you don't like. It's a certainty that you will not enjoy distasteful things the second time.
Never repeat old grievances.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Turn right, turn left, repeat as necessary.

One thing I’ve learned is that I’ve had to repeat many things over and over in order to learn some lessons in life well. If I don’t learn from the first time I make a mistake, I'll have to do it over again. Repeating some things over is not any fun at all, but eventually I do learn. When there is something you need to learn, something that you need to work on, the same situation will continue to repeat itself until you either learn your lesson or find a healthy way of dealing with that particular issue.
One lesson I’ve needed to learn recently can be summarized with a Shakespeare quote:
To thine own self be true.
I’m realizing that, no matter what other people say, do, or think about us, it is our opinions of ourselves that really matter and the good Lord has a way of keeping me a very humble person.
When you do the things you love to do over and over again it is lots of fun. While I probably won’t be eating a lot today, there are many other things I love to do and one of those things is putting this little newsletter together to share with my family and friends every day. It’s fun to see what holiday we are celebrating each day and it’s fun finding something in my life to share with you too. The pictures, the recipes and the quotes are of things I love.
Today is supposed to be another rainy day. The temps are very warm outside and somehow a rainy day isn’t quite so bad. I can still get out on the porch if I want, it won’t be a day spent entirely in the house.
The pictures today are repeats of my honeysuckle vines blooming last year, and they should be repeating the performance again very soon.
I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
One thing about the school of experience is that it will repeat the lesson if you flunk the first time.

I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for over a year and have now reached over 1700 gifts. On my way to 2000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1727. for being able to share with friends and family
1728. for my porch, a good place to be on a rainy but warm day
1729. for lessons learned
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Like you Pam, there are some things which I have had to repeat because I didn't learn my lesson the first time! I wouldn't mind repeating eating my favourite snacks though, but then again my hips wouldn't! Have a lovely day! xxoo
I'll be repeating a lot of reports today, LOL. They will be on different patients, but it will be the same process to get them done :)
Something soothing about a rainy day when it is warm out; good thing too that you can still enjoy the outside from your porch!
