Blame Someone Else Day is always celebrated on the first Friday the 13th of the year which just happens to be today. Imagine all the problems, errors, and mistakes you could heap on someone else today. On this day you don't have to take responsibility, or the blame, for any faux pas on your part. On the downside, this day comes as a double edged sword. While you are busy putting the blame elsewhere, someone might just be putting the blame on you!

Blame Someone Else Day could just be your day. But, watch out..... any blame you place today, can come back to bite you tomorrow. After all...what comes around goes around.

When you are younger you get blamed for crimes you never committed and when you're older you begin to get credit for virtues you never possessed. It evens itself out.

Since I live by myself there is very little I can blame on others.  I have to accept that when things go wrong, I’m the one that is to blame.  Well…sometimes I do put some blame on the weather.   It’s been a pretty wet week here.  We haven’t had any bad storms and for the most part the plants and the grass have appreciated the daily watering.  Everything is growing in leaps and bounds outside.  

I’m really not superstitious at all and Fridays are always good days for me, even Friday the 13th.  We’ll also  have the beautiful full Strawberry Moon to enjoy tonight.

Tonight DS#6 and his family will be coming in for the weekend.  There is a Duck Tape Festival going on not so very far away this weekend and DS#5’s Art Club has made a float for the parade there so they will all be going to see it.  I think that we all know the value of Duck Tape and all it’s many uses.  There is a lot of things held together by good old Duck Tape.  

There is also a lot of fun to be had with it too.  It comes in many different colors and patterns now and DDIL#5 made outfits for the kids to wear out of duck tape at the parade this year.  I hope to get some pictures to show you all later on.  Today’s pictures are from the festival last year.  

Tomorrow is to be sunny and in the low 70’s so it should be a great day to go to a parade!

I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for over a  year and have now reached over 1700 gifts.  On my way to 2000.  I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting.  There is always, always something to be thankful for.
