97 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS

If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
Bergen Evans was born this day in 1904 in Warren County city of Franklin, Ohio. He was well know for being a game show host in the 50's and early 60's He also wrote questions and researched answers for the TV show, The $64,000 Question.
There are no foolish questions, and no man becomes a fool until he has stopped asking questions.
Charles Proteus Steinmetz
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality.
Albert Einstein
Anyone who has had or ever been around children knows that they do ask a lot of questions. When I had children at home there were days that I found myself wondering if they would ever stop. Well, no they never did and I still get questions.
The thing is that we never really do quit learning. If we don't ask, we won't know. I have lots of questions I'd like to know the answers to. I'm sure that most of us do. And some questions just don't need any answers, somethings we've just got to take on faith alone.
I'll never have all the answers to all the questions, but I do know that I've found the answer to quite a few of the important ones. These are questions I've been able to say yes to.
Yes, I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Yes, I know that attitude is important
Yes, I know that Love can conquer most anything in life
Yes, laughter is often the best medicine
Yes, family is important
Yes, miracles do happen
Yes, prayer changes things
Maybe I have answers to more than these, but they are the important ones. I hope you all have found some answers to what you consider important in your life. The purpose of life is not to get more of everything (such as time or money), but to do our best with what we have. A little or a lot, the point of life is the same.
The Full Harvest Moon will be shining over us tonight. The Harvest Moon is the full Moon nearest the autumnal equinox and is bright enough to allow finishing all the harvest chores. I know I will not be out finishing up any chores in the moonlight, but I do know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. No matter where we are we all see the same moon.
Today's pictures are a few more of my fall decorations.
It's Thursday, a great day to ask a few more questions!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.
Bertrand Russell
I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts. I’ll be sharing them and giving thanks to God for these gifts each day.
962. for questions, they keep us learning
963. for answers that give us satisfaction
964. for my Bible, the book with all the answers
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
Is a smile a question? Or is it the answer?
Lee Smith
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Good post. Blessings
I do agree with there is not a silly question; I think it is silly if someone doesn't ask a question if they need more information. I too believe what you know about life; it is good things to know and not to question indeed!
I look forward to seeing the harvest moon tonight!
betty
I've been hearing on the news about the harvest moon and I hope I don't forget to go out tonight to see it. It was a nice day here and I did get some of my flower beds cleaned out. I still like putting the pine straw in them. That will have to be another day. Lol. Take care. Jean
Oh, MA... you always find just the right words. Thank you so very much!
The harvest moon was lighting up my driveway this morning as I was leaving for work at O'dark thirty... One of son3's teachers this year put a saying on the back to school papers that I really like: Be brave enough to seek help if you are having trouble... Hubby always tells the boys to ask lots of questions at school if they need help, but they are like me and hesitate to speak up in the class... :)
