21 DAYS UNTIL FALL
Sunrise: 6:55 am
Sunset: 8:01 pm
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
September 1st is Hummingbird Day, a fleeting occasion for celebrating those tiny little flitting birds than may grace our gardens. On this avian holiday, bird lovers may create, fill and hang up hummingbird feeders in windows and yards to attract the colorful creatures to visit.
Happiness flutters in the air whilst we rest among the breaths of nature.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Have you ever observed a hummingbird moving about in an aerial dance among the flowers - a living prismatic gem.... it is a creature of such fairy like loveliness as to mock all description.

We have been enjoying hummingbirds around our house all summer and even though they are still here it won't be long now till they'll head for warmer climates. If you've ever had a hummer buzz right by you know why they are called humming birds. My next door sister has several feeders out and we often enjoy watching them come to take a sip.
This past week I was able to get out for another day trip and this time we took in two of Ohio's historic villages I'll have more pictures to share of that in the days ahead but for today the pictures below will give you a glimpse of some of beautiful countryside.
You can definitely tell the season is about to change. We saw quite a few leaves starting to change on the trees. This coming week we may take a different direction with our sightseeing, but not so sure yet. Meanwhile I'm just enjoying the Labor Day weekend!
Hope you all have a restful and relaxing Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
You don’t even miss a beat when gratitude to God is the beat of your heart.
Anne Voskamp
I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts. I’ll be sharing them and giving thanks to God for these gifts each day.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
