If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
Victoria Woodhull was born on September 23, 1838 in Homer, Licking County, Ohio. Victoria was the first woman to run for President, running in 1892 against Grover Cleveland and then President Benjamin Harrison. Woodhull advocated for equal education for women, woman’s right to vote, and women’s right to control their own health decisions. In many ways Victoria Claflin Woodhull was ahead of her time and was an important trailblazer for women generations after her.
God gives us dreams a size too big so that we can grow in them.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The impossible is often the untried.
Jim Goodwin
I can't really imagine what it must have been like to be a woman with little or no rights and am glad I've lived in a time when a women can do just about anything that she wants to. I don't think it matters at all which you are, male or female.
You really never know what you can do until you try. But sometimes people are afraid to try something new and get stuck in doing the same things, the same way, and never changing.
Changes are something that are going to happen whether we want them to or not but the important thing is just haw we deal with new or different situations.
Things are beginning to look like fall and today's pictures are a look at the country side as I took a little ride the other day to get some fresh fruits and veggies at one of the farmer's markets here.
I hope you all have a great Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do.
Sarah Ban Breathnach
I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts. I’ll be sharing them and giving thanks to God for these gifts each day.

I love the Autumn leaf. Blessings
That was an interesting fact about Victoria Woodhull; I didn't know any woman had run for president before, very interesting Maz. I do agree that I am glad I live now where women do have a lot of rights compared to days of old, especially Biblical times when they had hardly any rights at all.
We had a touch of fall in our air this morning with the temperature being 56 degrees, usually it had been around 61-64 degrees, so I guess the change of season is upon us.
