TODAY'S THOUGHT
We may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly, but let us never lose sight of the reason for the journey, or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way

JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Forget about yesterday, let’s concentrate on TODAY
JUST FOR TODAY:
I will live through this day only. I will not brood about yesterday or obsess about tomorrow. I will not set far-reaching goals or try to overcome all of my problems at once
To be upset over what you don't have is to waste what you do have

IT’S MONDAY !!
BACK TO WORK! OH MY!
I hope your Easter weekend was a great one! I thoroughly enjoyed mine for sure. It was great being back at the camper. The weather was on the chilly side but sunny!
Pictures are up on my journal ‘What’s New at My House’ if you want to take a look. The link for that is always at the end of the newsletter.
This will be a short work week for me as I have Friday off. So weather permitting, I’ll head to the campsite after work on Thursday. It’s nice having the longer daylight hours as I can drive there before it gets dark and still have some daylight to spare.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Please join me in praying today for DDIL#1’s mom’s hubby, He has to have a heart catheterization on Tuesday. When they do the procedure if it is 70% or more blockage they will put in a stint.
God our Father, may all that we see and experience
lead us to grow in wonder and respect that we may value
and be thankful for everything in our lives each day
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

If My Body Were A Car...
If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ... but that's not the worst of it.
My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close. My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather. It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.
My fuel rate burns inefficiently. But here's the worst of it --Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter..... either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me
Matthew 28:10
The women were afraid since a woman's testimony was not considered valid, yet they hastened to announce the joyful news that Jesus had risen. As they went on their way, the risen Christ appeared to them and told them to have no fear. He would meet his disciples in Galilee
What an amazing story we celebrate! As the Church, the Body of Christ, we dare to proclaim that the body of Christ rose from the dead. We are bold to profess that there is new life that can come, even through the death and destruction that is part of this world. There is nothing that God cannot do! There is nothing that is stronger than our God! We need not fear anything, for God is with us.
