JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for Today: Make innovation part of your creative habit; put aside some time every day for “what if” thinking
Sometimes those images simply provide a brief pause in my day; the happy place I go to, if you will. Then, I am ready to rejoin the challenge at hand from a fresh start
TODAY’S QUOTE
In the game of life nothing is less important than the score at halftime

IT’S THURSDAY !!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SUNSHINE BOY!
May the dear Lord bless you today and always!
After today there is just one more day til the weekend. Right now the weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy to mostly cloudy for Saturday and Sunday so that is not bad at all for camping. We’ve been fortunate and not had any rain on the weekends.
I’m supposed to go to Bible Study this evening. Otherwise it has been a very quiet week here with nothing much to report. The grass is growing, everything is blooming and it’s going to rain some more today.
That’s the news from home as I know it.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Jesus, I place all my trust in you. Even when logic tells me otherwise, I will believe that you know what is best, and that you will never abandon me!
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
For all of us who are---seniors
---for all of you who know seniors
---and for all of you who will be seniors.
It pays to be able to laugh about it when you are a senior!
'Where Is My Paper?'
The irate customer calling the newspaper offices, loudly demanded to know where her Sunday edition was.
'Ma'am, said the employee, today is Saturday.
The Sunday paper is not delivered 'til Sunday.'
There was quite a pause on the other endof the phone,
followed by a ray of recognition.
So that's why no one was in church today.
TODAY’S REFLECTION
The Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls
Jeremiah 6:16
We have the living God who can supply what we lack. God asks us to read the Bible, to study it, and even to challenge what it says, confident that it will prove itself true in all circumstances

My dad always said that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. I just stroke the people I meet with the gospel and with love, even the prickly ones. It makes my life worth so much more by doing that. I enjoy it.
