After today there is just one more day til the weekend. Right now the weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy to mostly cloudy for Saturday and Sunday so that is not bad at all for camping. We’ve been fortunate and not had any rain on the weekends.

I’m supposed to go to Bible Study this evening. Otherwise it has been a very quiet week here with nothing much to report. The grass is growing, everything is blooming and it’s going to rain some more today.

That’s the news from home as I know it.

The irate customer calling the newspaper offices, loudly demanded to know where her Sunday edition was.

'Ma'am, said the employee, today is Saturday.

The Sunday paper is not delivered 'til Sunday.'

There was quite a pause on the other endof the phone,

followed by a ray of recognition.

So that's why no one was in church today.
