Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and enjoy some delicious corn fritters! Yum!
Those look so yummy, Ma!
For a while there, Tom's BP was up-and-down; we, too, bought a cuff and logged his numbers every day. They told us there's a myriad of reasons it can fluctuate throughout the day, so I hope you won't worry.
Yes, we heard about the flooding; so glad y'all are safe and dry! Hard to believe it's already been a year since the Camp Mystic tragedy.
I have never fixed corn fritters, I gotta try that. Glad the Dr. appt went good. Sherry is keeping up with her BP too. Her's is not steady at all. Hope yours settles down and youcan live the Texas life with a smile. We know you will.
Thanks for commenting on the Shipslog. LOVE you girl...
My blood pressure goes up and down too. Been trying to work on it with the doctors as well.
I have never ever had a corn fritter.
