Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and wear some fun socks or maybe clean out your sock drawer!
Even when I know I am wearing socks and shoes, I still have painted toenails. My toes are smiling up at me when I get out if the shower!
You know I don't know why - but I don't lose a lot of socks. But I do small loads often so I am there to catch it. Your toes sound cute.
What a fun post! Since retiring 8 years ago I pretty much ditched all my pantyhose and heels in favor of fun socks -- regardless of the weather. (I don't lose many, but understand those with lots of family members who do.)
