Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and spend time with family, even if it is by making a phone call!
I've only my one son and family but feel blessed knowing they're just "up the road" -- v. 1,200 miles! Because they're so busy, we only see one another maybe once a month, but still enjoying yakking by phone. Blessed!
PS - I just had an alert on my phone that lightening is detected nearby, so rain can't be far behind!
Happy Anniversary to DS#3 and his wife! We did visit Andy last night and babysat. Nice you are going to go to Florida and Ohio. We are supposed to get rain soon.
