Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and enjoy an extra hour of sleep. Fall back one hour!
I am not a fan of changing clocks myself. I liked your history lesson though. AND just yesterday as we changed the clocks I commented, "I think wristwatches are on their way out except as being jewelry for folks who want that. Most folks us their phones now!" TAke care cowgirl, LOve from Florida..
For some reason, I've never minded the time change. Pretty sure I'm in the minority, but I've always preferred this time of year. I remember driving home in the dark and seeing warm lamp lights in windows ... even a candle or two. It felt inviting, cozy.
Enjoy every day, no matter what the time…it passes so quickly!
Blessings to all, Virginia
Hi Ma, it's so good to be back here for a visit. I sure have missed you! The time change always messes me up so badly. I was ready to make lunch today when I realized it was 9:30 in the morning, lol! Of course I woke up way earlier than usual according to the clock. It will take a few weeks for me to adjust. I hope all is well in your world. Big hugs!
I want to know since we have had it for a hundred plus years - why we can't end the time change. No one wants it! It seems like it would be so easy to do - yet no one can do it.
