Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and get started on your Christmas cards!
I know what you mean - I wish just for one time a year the whole family could get together. It is so important. But it is hard.
I didn't know there was a Christmas Card Day - I used to send them, but I don't anymore.
Cincinnati was freezing!
Like Sandie, I no longer send 'real' Christmas cards. More than half on my list are now deceased, plus the cost of postage is sobering.
I never heard of that historical town in Texas ... so much I missed, but I hope you'll tell us all about your day.
There's rain in our forecast Tuesday and already we're warming up a bit. 7* in Ohio is unimaginable! I was watching the Cleveland game yesterday evening with all that blinding snow and thinking of you -- so glad to be warm(er) in Texas!
We were in the high numbers one for cards, now less than 20 all tolled methinks. Sherry does that and includes the Christmas presents. We no longer shop, since we are usually far away from our hometown at Christmas time.
We do get a few and do enjoy them. We are enjoying some cool weather here in Florida. Love you lady. Enjoy your holidays.
Love Sherry and jack
