The cars we drive say a lot about us.

My cars always had names, but now I  no longer have a car.  I sold it when I moved to Texas. My family takes me where I need to go.  I don’t mind at all and it saves me a lot of money. 

Some of names I gave my cars were:  the Blue Goose, the Silver Streak, the Little Red Hen and Sparkle.  I didn’t think of them as male or female.  Mostly they described the car. 

 I remember when people only had one car per family.  When we first got married, my husband took the car to work and I walked to work every day. Then later when we had children I had to take to school, they walked to school too. It was a luxury to have 2 cars in the family.  My daughter and her husband each have their own cars.  They both need to drive to their jobs, So two cars are not a luxury but a necessity for them.

COUNTING MY GIFTS

Wheels before Heels. 

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

12,741.for a DD and DSIL giving me a ride

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS

Please pray for God's protection of

our troops and HIS wisdom for their

commanders.

 

Almighty and eternal God,

Protect our military

as they discharge their duties

with the shield of your strength,

may the power of your love

enable them to return home in safety

that with all who love them

they may ever praise you for your loving care.

AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
