Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Mental health is just as important as physical health is.
100% agree!
My DIL has worked in mental health all her adult life and has always called for more attention and resources to be afforded these folks. I don't have any answers; in fact, she is presently on medical leave for having been physically attacked by one such man earlier this year. In broad daylight! Were it not for a Good Samaritan stepping in, she might not be alive today. It's difficult not to be angry, but we're putting it in God's hands.
This is a very timely post. I can understand someone with NO support getting very depressed. This last couple years have taken its toll here at our house, but there has been support and prayers from friends and folks around the world. We are thankful.
Love thew kid on the pumpkins, what a beauty!.
