Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Give a grouch a SMILE and ruin their day !
That's a great quote!
Your friend sounds like a hoot. I hope y'all have a silly and splendid lunch tomorrow.
Now I think I'm going to turn on the fireplace and take a nap myself. Happy Sunday!
I saw your post yesterday and I definitely celebrated National Dessert Day. I was at a wonderful farm store and treated myself to the pumpkin whoopie pie. Delish! My only disappointment besides the rain was that they were sold out of just made cider doughnuts. I really wanted to try one, but the whoopie pie was a great second choice. Happy autumn.
Okay - I hate to admit it - but I do have some grumps in my own life. Can't really figure out why though.
