Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I am thankful for the boss I had.
As always we enjoy the pictures of your lively family. Bosses, I had some great ones and some i would loved to have missed. As a boss I tried to remember what I had learned.
The boss is a definite target in about any business. EASY to hit since they stand out. LOL
good read and subject.
Sherry & jack still in a haze (mentally) but time heals so they say.
What a sweet gesture, gifting your boss his first flowers. I'm sure that really touched his heart.
Despite a real 'stinker' at my last workplace, I was very blessed to work for caring and considerate men who taught me much more than what was expected. Now that I'm retired, I guess Macie Ann and Grace Evelyn are my bosses. (They're so cute, they can get away with it.)
That casserole sounds good! I remember when I had a really nice boss and we used to get flowers and gifts for her on Boss's Day. She deserved it!
