Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I love socks that keep my feet warm and dry.
I think we all have at least ONE left on a pair. And yes it is a mystery. I still wear socks until holes appear. Funny looking back in time how mama even repaired 'holey' socks. I smiled when I read:
;,,,,say good bye to wistful widows and sorrowful singles.' Actually a good idea. Mine go to my rag collection and make good rags.
From down here, have a great day

Alas, I've finally more lone socks in my rag-bag than I'll ever use.
Before retirement, I actually enjoyed wearing nylons -- cool in the summer, warm in winter. While I still wear pantyhose to church on occasion, I love wearing regular socks w/ tennis shoes -- so many fun designs out there!
