ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY,SEPTEMBER 26TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Family Day which is celebrated annually on September 26h to celebrate our families. We all know that quality time with our family is paramount to building stronger relationships. When most people think of family they think of the people who are tied to them by marriage or blood, but the definition of family has evolved over time. One of the best things about this occasion is that we can celebrate every one.
So gather your family whatever the means to you, your mom, your cousins or even your friends. Spend some time with them and make sure to let them know just haw important they are to you.
Family can be defined many different ways. For many our friends are people who embody that spirit of the word family and are the ones that are there for us., know our stories, secrets and our good or bad traits.
National Family Day is a day where you can celebrate your friends as family.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side .
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I sustain myself with the love of family.
Maya Angelou
I do have friends that are like family and I also have family that are friends. I try every day to let you all know just how important you are by trying to keep in touch with this newsletter. In case you don’t know it, you all are important to me and I love you !
Sometimes we get so busy we forget to keep in touch with each other, but it’s important to me. When everyone still lived at home, it seemed like we were all so close, now not so much with time and distance separating all of us.
Today’s pictures are more of my family and what they’ve been doing. The pictures above are of our Cutie Patootie who lost her first tooth this week and DS#5 and family who went to a Renaissance Festival this past weekend. Thankfully every one shares lots of pictures of what’s going on. We aren’t often all togather so it’s good for me to see what they are doing.
We may not have it all together but together we have it all!

I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
When all the dust is settled and all the crowds are gone, the things that matter are faith, family and friends.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7453. for family, one of the most important things in my life.
7454. for plenty of pictures to share
7455. for the internet which keeps us in touch
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
You are born into your family and your family is born into you. No returns, no exchanges.

The important things in my life are Faith, Family and Friends.
How fun to lose her first tooth! And such cute pictures with the Renaissance Fair and their customs as well as your daughter and her family. It is wonderful that God designed for us to be in families! No matter if they consist of "blood" relatives or friends, we need that connection to enjoy life and to make life meaningful.

Yes, I recall my missing teeth as Big Deals. :)
My bio-family is small, but I'm blessed to have friends - like you - who color my world!
