ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY,SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is the National Day of Encouragement which is dedicated to uplifting people around us and making a positive impact. It’s a day meant to remind us that encouragement matters. Offering encouragement to someone is free. It never costs us anything to say a few words to inspire a student, a coworker, or a friend. Even a reassuring word to a stranger may make a difference in their lives.
Encouragement lifts up someone when they are down. It motivates a person who has their eye on a goal. When we’ve failed, the right words remind us to keep trying. A little dedication to finding the right message may create a spark that changes a loved one’s perspective.
Sometimes the act of noticing a job well done improves someone’s day. It’s good to get into the habit of recognizing emerging talents and speak up and offer a kind word or a helpful tip. It’s a practice worth having to improve relationships at work, home and in the world around us There’s really no simpler way.
To celebrate today, provide reassurance ond inspiration to the people around you. High five someone for a job well done.
The day following September 11th, a day full of hurt, confusion and hopelessness, September 12th seemed an appropriate time to acknowledge the importance of coming together and encouraging others. Encouragement matters
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side .
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.

When words encourage, rather than discourage, we take a step in the right direction. When words encourage, people smile and the future is much brighter. So lets do our part today to fill the world around us with words of encouragement.
Today would have been my dad’s birthday and is one of my nieces anniversary. A double celebration day. Dad died several years ago now, but ilives in my heart along with all my loved ones, where I keep them forever in my heart.
In case you forgot to remind yourself this morning…Your smile lights up the room, Your mind is cool, You are way more than enough You are doing a great job at Life. You’ve got this!
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!

Everyone has inside of them a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can Love! How much you can accomplish! And what your potential is.

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Yes, you are indeed a great encourager! I always leave here with a lighter heart and truly appreciate all the nuggets of wisdom you sprinkle through each and every post! May God bless you as much as you have blessed so many!
I'm happy to 'ditto' Linda and Betty!
When I pause to remember how encouraging words have lifted my spirits, I'm more inclined to pay it forward. We never know what impact a kind word may have.
