ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY,AUGUST 22ND, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is Be an Angel Day which encourages us to be kind and to help others . Kindness is the the act or the state of being king, being marked by good and charitable behavior, pleasant disposition, and concern for others. It is known as a virtue and recognized as a value in many cultures and religions.
Research has shown that acts of kindness does not only benefit the receivers of the kind act , but the giver alsa from results of neurotransmitters responsible for feelings of contentment and relaxation when such acts are committed.
Every action we take that helps another can result in many different things occurring, not the least of which are lasting friendships, eternal gratitude and sometimes just a feeling of contentment of doing something good.
If someone is being an angel to you, thank them, and let them know that their kindness is appreciated. It’s a day to extend a helping hand, offer a kind word, or show someone your gratitude. Enjoy Be An Angel Day!
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Angels are like diamonds. They can’t be made, you have to find them, Each one is unique.
Jaclyn Smith
Thankfully, I’ve had many angels in my life. Loving and kind people that have helped me out when I needed it. And I would like to say just how much you are all are appreciated. So many times help came when I least expected it but always when I really needed it.. It is never a waste of time to be kind, we never know what someone else is going through.
Today’s pictures are pictures of my angels, who closely resemble my family, because they are the angels in my life, they are always kind and loving.
Kindness is more than deeds. It is an attitude, and expression a look a touch. It is anything that lifts another person.

I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us, and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.
George Elliot
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7360. for all the angels in my life, you are appreciated
7361. for a day to remind us to be kind
7362. for the angels all around us
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cost the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give.
George MacDonald
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

There are angels all around us...
Loved your family and friends photos today!
God does send special angels into our lives....some for a season, others for a moment and a few for years and years.....
You got great angels in your life, Ma!! It is always good to be kind. And it usually doesn't cost anything or much at all to do so!

For the second time today, I feel this message was directed straight at me.
Of late, some of us are becoming a little disgruntled at (our) church leaders asking for more, more. And then some more. In the way of community service, that is. Unfortunately, they rarely participate. And not a one of the recipients are even members.
I'm reminded of a favorite Beatles' tune, "There will come an answer, let it be."
Happy Thursday!
