ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
MONDAY, AUGUST 5TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Fresh Breath Day which should be celebrated every day of the year. It’s suggested that we spend some time learning about oral health and how to take care of our teeth and maintain fresh breath every day.
They say that over 50 per cent of the bactria found in the mouth contributes to bad breath. Brushing twice a day and using mouthwash is the obvious way to fight this, but many don’t know that mints and chewing gum that contain sugar have the opposite effect that you want. Having bad breath can wreck havoc on someones professional and personal life. so it’s our responsibility to combat dragon breath. Celebrate today by battling the occasional Halitosis with a nice mouth wash, But for the worst cases a visit to see your dentist might be necessary.
THOUGhT FOR THE DAY
Time is free,
but it’s priceless
You can’t own it,
But you can use it.
You’ can’t keep it,
But ou can spend it
When you’ve lost it.
You can never get it back.

Most of us were taught to brush our teeth at a young age and it’s a habit to brush your teeth in the morning and before bed at night. That was the case at my house anyway. And the sure way to know if they had brushed their teeth or no was to smell their breath. There is no denying the smell of dirty teeth.
I was taught to brush 3 times a day, after every meal. But most of us only brush twice. But even when you don’t have time to brush, there are foods that promote fresh breath. An Apple a day can keep the dentist aways as well as the doctor. The Polyphenols in apples help break down bacteria in the mouth which has a positive effect on the breath . They are also effective at cleaning the teath and collecting debris that bacteria would normal feed on. A really good idea would b to pack an apple for lunch every day.
Today’s pictures are of DD who is a certified dental assistant and who I think has some beautiful teeth.
I hope you all have GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Don't have dragon breath, have an apple instead.
Funny you posted this because last night was my first time to try to use a waterpick. It had been suggested to me a few times while at the dentist office so I decided to give it a whirl.
I do agree, your daughter has beautiful teeth on a beautiful face! Good to take care of our pearly whites!
