ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

TODAY IS WHISTLEBLOWER APPRECIATION DAY which a day to pay respect to the whistle blowers that have saved citizens of the US from frauds, abuse, and corrupt practices. This day reminds us to honor and support people when they speak up and step forward when they witness frauds, abuse, or waste.
That is the duty of all persons in the United States as well as all other inhabitants there of, to give the earliest information of wrongdoing to Congress or the Proper authority of any misconduct, frauds or misdemeanors committed by any officers or persons in the services of these states which may to their knowledge.
First U.S. whistleblower law unanimously passed on July 30, 1778 by the Contenatal Congress.
The resolution honored 10 Sailors and marines who spoke out against their commander’s abuses in office.
While legisistlation now protects whistle blowers from retaliation , they still carry a heavy burden and are often thought of as unloyal employees. They do deserve better than that.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but the thankful heart will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings.
Henry Ward Beecher
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
7291. for whistle blowers who save us from corrupt policies
7292. for people that are not afraid to speak up for what is right
7293. for laws to protect those that do.
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Before you speak ask yourself if what you are going to say is true, is kind, is necessary, is helpful. If the answer is no maybe what you are about to say should be left unsaid.
Bernard Meltzer
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Never be afraid to speak up about what is right.
That is a mighty big chair your grandson is sitting on! Great picture of him! I'm glad there are whistle blowers out there not afraid to take a stand, no matter what the outcome might be. Unfortunately that is how life is that there will be those who are corrupted or what to do evil and its everyone's responsibilities to be observant and report what needs to be reported.
