ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is Parents’ Day which celebrates the special bonds of love between parents and their children. This day aims to promote the value and importance of good parenting, and to recognize positive parental role models.
President Clinton established Parents Day in 1994. According to the Congressional resolution, this day was established for recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children. It always takes place on the 4th Sunday of July.
It’s a great day to thank your parents for all their unconditional love and support. It is also a time for families to come together.
Today is also National Milk Chocolate Day.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves.
Henry Ward Beecher
I’m very thankful for my parents, where would I be without them. My memories of them live on. They are gone but not forgotten.
I’m also very thankful to have become a parent myself and for having had a wonderful husband too. Together we had a wonderful family.
Family is one of the most important things in my life and I love those times they are all together. They were all very close growing up, but now they are older time and distance makes it hard to get together at one time.
Summertime is often a great time for family reunions and that is what the pictures are of today. Our family reunion 2015. My family, minus 3 of the grandchildren that couldn’t make it.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
One of the greatest titles in the world is parent and one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad.
Jim DeMint

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

FAITH, FAMILY AND FRIENDS are the most important thing in my life.
I did see it on the local news this morning that it was parents day. The news show was featuring pictures of the newscasters and their parents and siblings. I thought that was neat! Always enjoy looking at your pictures of your family, Ma! Such a blessing indeed!
