ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

It’s a sweet day to have something sweet!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I am not overweight. I am chocolate enriched.

As we just had Halloween a few days ago, most of us have plenty of candy around, but just in case you don’t, here is a recipe to make a sweet treat of your own.
Pretzel and Chocolate Bites
Pretzel squares
Hershey Kisses
Peanut butter M&M’s
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a single layer on a baking sheet, line up pretzel squares. Top eat pretzel with a Kiss. Transfer to oven for 1 to 2 minutes, or until kiss starts to melt.
Remove from oven and push a M&M on top of each kiss.
I hope you all remembered to set your clocks back an hour and enjoyed an extra hour of sleep last night. I know I did.
It’s looking like we might have a dry day without rain here. It’s to be a cloudy start though but I’m hoping we do see some sunshine. I’m off to church as usual for a Sunday and will be home most of the day after that. I do have some leftover candy here at my house so I’m sure to indulge in at least one or two pieces for my dessert today.
I put some chicken in the crockpot to make chicken soup for today, so lunch should be nearly ready by the time I get home.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6490. for candy, a sweet treat is good
6491. for a day to relax, refresh and renew
6492. for soup that warms you up on a chilly day
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY

A bit of love from someone dear…

Have a sweet Sunday! Relax, renew and refresh!
I sent all our leftover Halloween candy to work with hubby on Friday. I was getting tempted to eat some of it so it had to go, LOL :) I did save some that I know son likes and gave it to him last night when he picked up our grandson. A little treat now and then is a good one!
betty
Good morning! That last pic of your grandson is as sweet as any candy we will ever eat!
Happpy Sunday to you! I’m getting ready to go to church now, too. It’s a glorious November Sunday in Texas today!
Ohhhh, Reese's! (My Achilles heel!)
Although we had no trick or treaters, I took care when shopping to buy only the kind I DISlike.
Our only 'regular' clocks are on the microwave and coffee maker … but darn if the auto update on my cell phone didn't trick me: This morning the dogs were all over my head, itching to be let out. I couldn't understand why they needed out at 5:29 instead of letting me sleep 'til after 6. Then ... duh!
