ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Shopping Reminder Day which is an unofficial holiday that reminds people that Christmas is only a month away and that they should get a head start on their holiday shopping.
December is thought to be the years busiest shopping season and if you want to avoid the crowds and the stress of last minute shopping, now is the time to begin.
Get your holiday shopping list organized and get ready to shop till you drop because it is Shopping Reminder Day!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
We do not remember the days, we remember the moments.
Cesare Pavese
There won’t be any shopping done by me today, but I’ll be making my list and checking it twice...I don’t buy much but stocking stuffers these days, but I still need to get those for my family and friends.
And for those that may be wondering, the first Sunday of Advent will be next Sunday, December 2nd, so if you celebrate the Advent Season, you might want to pick up your Advent wreath candles this week. I was surprised to see that the Candle Factory we visited on Friday didn’t have any for sale. But I do have some left from last year, so I won’t have to shop for any new ones.
After church this morning, I hope to get started on my Christmas decorations and after putting my Christmas tablecloth on the table, I always put the Advent wreath in the middle of the table. Advent is a time to prepare for Christmas and one of the four candles are lit each week until Christmas. They are a constant reminder of the holy season.
Temps here will be in the upper 40’s close to 50 degrees but it doesn’t really feel very warm at all. We had a lot of rain yesterday, and today is to be mostly cloudy. The dampness makes it feel quite chilly.
Today’s pictures are of the birthday party yesterday, we had a great time and were inside where it was warm and cozy. The party theme was all about crafting, it is one thing the girls love to do. They had it in a room at one of our local parks so they would have plenty of space for every one to make some fabulous creations.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
It is a wonderful seasoning of all enjoyments to think of those we love.
Jean Baptiste Moliere
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6553. for a whole month until Christmas
6554. for a warmer day to get the decorations out of the storage unit
6555. for the coming season of Advent, a time to prepare
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

This is not going to be my ordinary relaxing Sunday, but with all the busyness of the season, I'm trying to remember every day is one to celebrate!
What a cute theme for the party and I like the cake with the cupcakes around it. I'm sure fun was had by all. It is that busy time of year to try to get everything done. Just driving the neighborhood in the past 2 days we can see people were busy putting up their lights and other decorations :)

I love birthday parties... especially for children. It makes my heart happy! Love, Andrea xoxo
Those girls are absolutely adorable, Pam! A crafting party sounds like a really novel idea; they must have inherited your own gift for art?
