ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is Mickey Mouse Day which celebrates the birthday of everyone’s favorite animated mouse. He is also one of the most famous cartoon characters, and is the first to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
This lovable character’s big screen debut was in Steamboat Willie on November 18th, 1928. He represents everything kidney related and is one of the most recognized universal symbols of the 20th century.
Micky Mouse loves a good adventure along with his friends Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Life is a daring adventure or it is nothing at all.
Helen Keller
Mickey Mouse is a family favorite and has been. I enjoyed his antics, my children did too and same with my grandchildren. So I’ll join in the fun today and celebrate his birthday by watching one of his movies. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how young, they are always good.
It’s a good day to relax and turn the TV on after the busy day we had yesterday. My daughter and her hubby did a wonderful job of hosting our family gathering and I’d like to say THANK YOU for all the food and fun.
I’ve decided not to wait and share pictures of our family feast as I took lots of pictures and think I have enough to share every day through Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.
Now I’ll continue on with getting ready for Christmas which is an adventure in itself. Life is never boring in the slow lane. After all, they say slow and steady wins the race.
I’m off to church this morning and bundling up to keep warm. We are to be in the upper 30’s and they say we may even see some sunshine peak through. Thanksgiving week is supposed to be a little warmer, with fairer skies and by Friday we may be close to 50 degrees.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!

So very thankful for my family !
I'm glad you'll be sharing pictures of your family gathering throughout the week, Ma. Always enjoyable to see them and the love you all have for each other! Thanksgiving is early this year so you'll have an extra week to get ready for Christmas! I'm sure lots will be out shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I even saw that some child care providers are providing extra services for parents who want to go out shopping for Black Friday, including offering overnight watching of kids.

We are so thankful for all that God has provided for us. And I am grateful how God held me during times when life was harsh.
I'm loving that group picture … your arms and your heart are full! There are some unfamiliar faces, but I'm guessing those are dear friends and extended family members … everyone deserves being welcomed into the fold on Thanksgiving!
What a wonderful family get-together Pam! I miss things like that. The last time I had my family all gathered around me was Thanksgivig 1999. I wish I had known then it would be the last one. Oh well. I loved the Micky Mouse Club when I was a child. I used to rush home from school at lunch time to watch it! xoxo
