ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Celebrate your Unique Talent Day which honors the unique talent or skill in which you excel. It is a day to embrace those quirky abilities and show them off. Our unique talent are some of the things that make us who we are and in many cases define our personalities and our outlook to life.
Everyone has something in which they truly excell. Your unique and special talent could involve writing, art, sports or math. It doesn’t matter what your talent is, today is your day to shine!
Today is also National Sardines Day and Small Business Saturday
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
There is only one you in all of time.
Martha Graham
We are all beautifully and wonderfully made. Each one of us is special and unique. It would be a crazy world if we were all the same. It takes a lot of different talents to make the world go round. There are butchers and bakers and candle stick makers. There are doctors, dentists and construction workers. The list goes on and on.
Sometimes we begin to think that what we do isn’t very special at all, but what ever you do, it does make a difference.
I’ll be celebrating with two of my granddaughters today at their birthday party. Each one is very different from the other, as are all of us. But because they both have November birthdays, their party is always joint venture.
It seems like I’ve been celebrating for the better part of this week. On Tuesday I went out to lunch with DD, my sister and one of her daughters. Thursday I visited with my sister for her family Thanksgiving, Friday was our old fashioned Christmas outing, which is shown in today’s pictures, and now today is a party!
Our little old fashioned Christmas outing was a success. The little town has grown a lot since we first went there and our favorite Main Street Cafe had changed names and ownership so we went to a new pizzeria instead, but still we had a great time just being together.
There has not been much work done at all here at my house. I’ve accomplished very little, but next week will be a different story. Thanksgiving week is truly one to celebrate and be thankful!
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover own own special light.

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6550. for our unique and varied talents
6551. for a whole week of Thanksgiving
6552. for our sweet Sugar, AB and our Cutie Patootie, it’s their party day
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Since everybody is an individual, nobody can be you. You are unique. No one can tell you how to use your time. It is yours. Your life is your own. You mold it. You make it.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Tomorrow will be Shopping Reminder Day. Only one month until Christmas !
I haven't had sardines in years, but I do remember my mom saying she would make my dad sardine sandwiches to take to work. Your outing does seem like fun, as well as your birthday party celebration today. Always great to have times to celebrate. Enjoy!
betty
I don't recall ever having tasted a sardine, but how my daddy loved them. This year, perhaps, would be a good time to try. Your family's excursion looks like great fun; there's something so cute about the little ones all bundled up! Yes, what a delight-full week!
Happy Saturday blessings!
Last week, thanks to you, I celebrated Fast Food Day by putting off that day's planned dinner menu in favor of a burger to go! Hmmm, maybe I should pull out a tin of sardines for lunch, eh? :)
It sounds like the holiday season has kicked off in style for you. Lots of celebrating. Enjoy!
