ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is National Relaxation Day which is all about taking a step back to unwind and decompress. We live in a fast paced world that can be stressful and overwhelming at times.
Although a certain amount of stress is normal, too much of it can be harmful to your physical and mental health. Take care of yourself today. Avoid stressful activities. Read a book, get a massage, watch a move, take a nap or go for a walk. Studies have show that going for a walk a few times a week leads to improved well being and lower stress levels.
No matter what you choose to do, just remember to take it easy, even if it’s only for a few minutes.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Our minds need relaxation and give way
Unless we mix with work a little play.
Molier
I like to think I live in a stress free zone, Where everything is usually peaceful and quiet. Although there are times when it’s almost too quiet.
There are definite health risks to stress and that is why it is so important to take a few minutes and relax. You may not be able to spend an entire day relaxing, but a few well spent moments will do the trick.
I found from past experience that it’s when I get way too busy is when I tend to get sick. You cannot live with an overload of stress and not risk the consequences. When you take the time to be good to yourself, you’ll find that you are better able to do your work even better than before.
I’m going to try to get my shopping and errands done today, but one thing I know for sure is that if I don’t get done today, it will wait for tomorrow. No sense in getting stressed out about it. I like to make plans of what I hope to accomplish each day and very often only half of what I plan actually gets done. I’m just thankful for what does get done.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I'm too blessed to be stressed !
Take it easy and don't stress! I tell myself that but myself doesn't listen! Go for a walk, that is good advice!
I tend to carry a lot of stress, I should learn to release a lot of it and try to relax more. Getting out and sitting and enjoying nature can be relaxful; need to do that more!

I wholeheartedly agree that stress can contribute to illness … even death. Witness my own father. Still, some people claim it like a badge of honor. For a while, it was my own faithful companion.
I thank my lucky stars to have escaped a toxic environment. We're building our own little stress-free zone one day at a time!
