THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Life delights in life
William Blake
I love trivia and sharing my little piece of it each day is a fun thing to do. Knowing what holiday it is each day is not so much about the facts as it is about having something to celebrate every day. There is a bright side to every day.
Have some fun today. Laugh and have a good time. Do something you enjoy with someone you care about. Sometimes it is the little things that mean the most.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Courtesies of a small and trivial character are the ones which strike deepest in the grateful and appreciating heart.
Henry Clay
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3466. for fun bits of trivia to share

3468. for little things, they mean a lot
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY

I like trivia too; always like to learn something new. Since we watch a lot of football during the season, I've been looking up the different quarterbacks for the teams and reading brief biographies on them; learning lots of trivia about them, their careers, their family, and their faith. Its been neat to do so :)
betty
I love that quote by Henry Clay!
And you know I love trivia! And by the way, I think just about EVERYTHING is important, as long as we get inspiration, joy or beauty from it!
I knew you would get us off to a good start to our post-holiday week!
