Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
April 8th, All is Ours Day, is is bound to be a spectacular day for all us. The greatest events, and the best things in life, are those that are shared. The day wants to highlight all the wonderful things in the world and to be aware of our surroundings and what exists in them. Think about the fact, that a lot of these things belong to everyone and that they should be shared with all people in the world.
Think of the concept. Imagine the possibilities.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Happiness is not so much in having or sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
Norman Macewan
There truly are a lot of wonderful things in this world and for me, they are all better when shared with someone else. Let's be aware of all the wonderful things that surround us, from the fragrance the flowers give off, to the buildings that keep us dry from the rain, to the rain that refreshes the world.
Take the time to realize what you have to be grateful for and enjoy the things you have instead of yearning for those things you don't have. So many are always looking for the best next thing without reminding themselves of the things they already have. When you're happy with the things you have, you're more likely to enjoy life, passing that happiness along to others.
The pictures today are of the tulips and daffodils that have started popping up, Hopefully it won’t be long and we’ll have lots of blooms! We planted over 100 bulbs last fall, besides the others we already had. You can see I have lots of work ahead raking leaves out of the flower beds.
What a wonderful gift each day is . It is ours to appreciate and enjoy and is always made better by sharing it with others.
I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
For the beauty of the earth,
for the beauty of the skies,
for the love which from our birth
over and around us lies,
Christ our Lord, to Thee we raise
this our sacrifice of praise.
Folliott Sandford Pierpoint
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for a little over a year and have now reached 1500 gifts. On my way to 2000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1559. for the amazing beauty all around us
1560. for a spring rain, renewing the earth
1561. for people in my life to share things with

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's

Pam, I can't wait to see all of your bulbs in bloom! How wonderful they will be! It cheers my heart just to see the little green shoots and the promise that they bring! Yay Spring! xxoo
Thank you for sharing such positive thoughts! It's a great way to start the day--and I always feel that how one starts the day is the driving force behind the whole day!
That is going to be so pretty when all those tulips bloom! That was also a lot of hard work to plant them all! I'm sure you will share a picture of them in bloom here for us to enjoy :)
