Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
April 3rd is Don't Go to Work Unless it's Fun Day. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up in the morning and decide whether you will go to work? If it is going to be fun at work, you get up and go. Otherwise, you turn over and go back to sleep.
Maybe it's a bit of spring fever making the responsible worker reconsider sitting at a desk all day and tapping away on a keyboard. After a long winter, a beautiful Spring day makes us all think about what we would be happy working at. The possibilities seem endless.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
When people go to work, they shouldn't have to leave their hearts at home.
Betty Bender
I am retired so now I never leave home to go to work, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some work that needs done. I guess I should be thankful that April is the month of showers, else little would be getting done inside my house for sure. On the sunny and warmer days I will want to be outside for sure.
I’m also very thankful that I can still do what needs to be done. I do things slowly and take my time, but there is much to be said for living life in the slow lane.
Whatever you do, do it with all your heart. Any job is worth doing well. It gives you a great sense of peace knowing you’ve done a job to the best of your ability. Taking the time for gratitude and appreciation in our work allows us to better see the ways God is working throughout all of it. It is important for us to take time to admire our work and even greater than our own satisfaction is the realization that we didn’t accomplish this all alone. God delights in the way we use the gifts we have received.
The pictures today are of the beautiful day I enjoyed with DS#4 and his family on Monday of this week.
I hope you all have a fun Thursday! Keep it simple - make it fun! KISMIF!
Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else.
James Matthew Barrie
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Thank God every morning when you get up, that you have something to do that day which must be done, whether you like it or not. Being forced to work and forced to do your best will breed in you temperance and self-control, diligence and strength of will, cheerfulness and content, and a hundred virtues which the idle never know.
Charles Kingsley
I have counted at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for a little over a year and have now reached 1500 gifts. On my way to 2000. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
Find a job you like and you add five days to every week.

Those were great pictures, Ma, and the weather looked great for your time with your son! I like the Don't Go to Work Unless its Fun Day. Sadly my job and my profession has changed so much over the past 2-3 years that work is no longer fun like it used to be. I still dearly love the type of work I do but the politics of it have changed so that's not enjoyable. I'm hoping I can continue in it until I'm ready to retire in about 10 years, but we'll see.
I do agree that we should do the best we can at whatever work we do, even if we do it slowly, but have the right attitude that we are indeed working for God!

Your first picture of that lovely white tree looks like a bridal veil - so delicate.
