Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Love your "stress management" tip for today.I do need to de-stress. God bless you.
Thank MA for that great Stress Management technique. I've been spending time lately practicing stress relief techniques; I refuse to add anything else that I can't control into my life.
Look at that snow! Wow! Pretty though!! That soup recipe looked delicious too, Ma, I may have to try it! I do agree that a pot of soup with a good loaf of bread makes a wonderful dinner indeed!! I bet your kitchen will smell so delicious with all the wonderful things you are planning to cook/bake for the upcoming holidays! That is good news about your DIL being home and waiting another week for the baby to be born; will continue to pray for her.

I have been doing some holiday prep as well. My entire family will be heading up to our cabin back in the northern woods of Michigan. I just made two large lasgna's and froze them to take up there for one of our meals. I have gathered my ingredients for the dishes I will be making for Thanksgiving and I bought my Christmas cards to take along with me and fill them out will relaxing in the woods!
