Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Reading has always been my favorite pass time. Even my childhood friends remember me as always having a book in my hands. Will pray for DDIL#5
Will say a prayer for your DDIL and her baby. You got great pumpkin carving grandsons!! They looked very intent in their task!
I hope the trick or treating goes well this afternoon and the kids rake in a lot of candy!
I too like to read, Ma. I have gotten into the habit of reading after dinner for a bit before I read blogs and then reading a bit before bedtime too. It is so relaxing. I just finished a book called the Kitchen House; it was a good book, sad, but one that you couldn't put down.
Have a good day and hope you get lots of trick or treaters!
betty
Prayer just said! Cute little pumpkin carvers there! Katy and Cody carved some big ones! They do this every year. Katy started the tradition. They each do their own now. Hope you are enjoying your Saturday! I've a big bowl of chili on the stove and Katy's coming home.
I am praying for your daughter and the baby right now. God bless them and keep them safe, and comfort all of the family.
