Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I've been enjoying my flannel sheets at night. I always read before going to sleep, & the flannel is just wonderful!!
Good blog today with "words of wisdom".
It is hard to lose the light as we go into fall; I'm noticing it a lot more this year than previous years myself. I do agree that we are all susceptible to mental health issues depending on what is going on in our lives, etc. I know in my younger years I had issues with panic attacks and can be anxious at times even now; its good there is a day to recognize it and make people aware they may not be alone in what they are going through.
May today be a good one!
betty
I have to agree with That Corgi on the mental health issue Ma. I also am feeling the change of the season. It is very cold and damp here today,I have my CH on and it's only 4-30pm brrr.I often think in the evenings it's much later than it is,due to the shorter days.MY doctor once told me if I thought I was suffering SAD,to look at a lamp which is lit up,for five minutes in my home and it would have the same healing effect as the sun.luckily,I havn't needed to do this.I know you love the beach.Lovely pictures .Prayers for our Troops.Have a lovely cosy evening Ma,stay warm.I have bought a new winter weight quilt today. So hopefully I will be when I am tucked up tonight He-He.Take Care God Bless Kath xx
