Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Keeping your sweet grandson in my prayers Pam! Isn't it neat that we both posted about the same feast day today!! Remarkable! Great minds and all that!! I would love to see a Wooly Bear Caterpillar!! Love and hugs to you! xxoo
That grandson is SO cute!
Sending prayers for your grandson and God's blessings also.
Alas, our Indian Summer has come and gone. Frost on some of the grass this morning. Still, I'm sure we'll get a couple more 18 deg C days before the end of the month.
Awww, praying your grandson will have a speedy recovery!!
Found 7 wooly bears on my down stairs front porch yesterday...!!From the looks of the little devils we'll be getting more snow than last year..!!
Enjoy
Your poor grandson! He looks like he's tolerating it okay so far; glad it is "only" four weeks and not longer he has to wear the cast and that it is not summer where he wouldn't be able to enjoy water activities, but still it is painful I know!
It is interesting how animals help us predict what the weather could be. We used to feed birds in Santa Fe when we lived there with some bird feeders in our backyard. We started noticing when the birds were eating a lot and a lot of birds were around, a winter storm was on its way and sure enough within a day or two we would have a lot of snow.
enjoy the pleasant fall weather days you have left!
betty
Your little grandson is so CUTE. I'm saying a prayer for him to be better soon.
