ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
March 11TH, 2011
If you can't see the bright side of life, polish the dull side
It's FRIDAY!
Today is Apple Appreciation Day, honoring the memory of Johnny Appleseed Chapman, who died on this date in 1847. He planted apple trees everywhere he went and was regarded by native Americans a great medicine man.
John Chapman was among the American settlers who were captivated by the movement west across the continent. As Johnny Appleseed travelled west, he planted apple trees along the way, and sold trees to settlers. During the life of John Chapman, the West was places like Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois

Today: Remember, it’s not just what you do that defines who you are. More over, it’s how you handle what you do, that defines who you really are

PRAYERS
Dear Lord, thank You for loving us today and every day. We are very grateful that You are bigger than all of our problems.
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU!
AROUND HOME
All of us could take a lesson from the weather: It pays no attention to criticism.
Just when signs of spring were starting to pop up around here the little green shoots of the daffodils are finding themselves snow covered once more.
Take good care everyone!
