May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
I'm hoping that DD and her hubby will be here by this afternoon. DSIL had to work yesterday evening so they weren't able to come then. It's always more fun to have some family here and besides that it's great having some of her good popcorn at the campfire on Saturday night. She said they'd be here if it didn't rain.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope

Humor helps us to think out of the box. The average child laughs about 400 times per day, the average adult laughs only 15 times per day. What happened to the other 385 laughs

You can't buy any of these things. You can have all the material possessions you can imagine, provisions for the future, etc., but if you are poor of spirit, you have nothing!
Wraps and sandwiches are great cold and are a good way to incorporate leftover meat and rice. Use fresh bread or croissants to make sandwiches more interesting, and pile on sprouts, spinach, tomatoes, and specialty cheeses. Making a tortilla or pita-style wrap allows you to more easily use messier leftovers like rice and beans, chopped carrots and cucumber, avocado, apple slices, sun-dried tomato spread, or hummus. You can also make Caesar or Cobb salad wraps—basically a salad in wrap form.
Sprinkle chicken tenders with House Seasoning. Dredge chicken in flour; dip into buttermilk and back into flour.
Preheat oil to 350 degrees F. Fry fingers in deep hot oil 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with honey mustard for dipping. or...make into a delicious sandwich

PRAYERS
I had a call from DS#6 yesterday and they are leaving today for a little vacation so I'll be praying for safe travels for them and for nice weather too.
He also said he'll be needing some help at the end of August so I'll be traveling there and staying for a few days. He's having a hernia repair done so I'll be praying too that that surgery goes well for him.
