IT’S THURSDAY !!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SUNSHINE BOY!
May the dear Lord bless you today and always!
After today there is just one more day til the weekend. Right now the weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy to mostly cloudy for Saturday and Sunday so that is not bad at all for camping. We’ve been fortunate and not had any rain on the weekends.
I’m supposed to go to Bible Study this evening. Otherwise it has been a very quiet week here with nothing much to report. The grass is growing, everything is blooming and it’s going to rain some more today.
That’s the news from home as I know it.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Jesus, I place all my trust in you. Even when logic tells me otherwise, I will believe that you know what is best, and that you will never abandon me!
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

IT’S WEDNESDAY !!
And it is OVER THE HUMP DAY!
We’ve gone from t-shirts back to turtlenecks in one day. It really cooled down here with the rain that came in yesterday. We were in the 40’s overnight but we should see 60 today. I’ve got to say that is much better than 30 degrees. It is just not as good as 80 degrees. I know we don’t have that kind of warmth til July so I’ll be thankful for the 60’s.
With the warm weather we did have, I got really brave and took my flannel sheets off the bed. You know I love that flannel and fleece to keep warm, so I’m hoping the days of freezing weather are over at least.
Tonight is laundry night as I’ve been doing my weekend chores during the week so they are done for the weekend. The long range forecast is not looking real great with chances of rain for Friday and Saturday, but Sunday is looking sunny.
I will probably still head out to the camper unless it is pouring rain when I get out of work on Friday evening, then I’ll wait and leave early Saturday morning.
We had some wonderful birds chattering away in the tree tops there last weekend. I have no idea what they were, but the song they sang was rather loud and it looked like they were dancing away going up and down as they sat perched on the tree branches. I thought it sounded like they were saying bob o link…but I did check to see what kind of sound a Bob o link made and it was definitely not the sound I heard. I’m hoping I get a closer look at them this weekend.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

ANYONE HOME?

Is your Father there?
Pa? Nope, he left before Ma came in.
Well, is your Mother there?
Nope, Ma left just before I got here.
Are you never together as a family?
Sure, but not here. This is the outhouse!"
TODAY’S REFLECTION

I Kings 6:13
The Lord is with us. And, since the Lord is near, everything is different. Everything!
You may be facing death, but you aren’t facing death alone; the Lord is with you. You may be facing unemployment, but you aren’t facing unemployment alone; the Lord is with you. You may be facing marital struggles, but you aren’t facing them alone; the Lord is with you. You may be facing debt, but you aren’t facing debt alone; the Lord is with you.
Underline these words: You are not alone.
Your family may turn against you, but God won’t. Your friends may betray you, but God won’t. You may feel alone in the wilderness, but you are not. He is with you.

IT’S MONDAY !!
It really is the beginning of a new week already. I hope you all enjoyed some nice weather this past weekend too and were able to get outside and enjoy it all. It was way unusual one for us in that we had temps in the 80’s all weekend. It will still be sunny and hot like that today, but tonight rain moves in and will cool us back down into the 60’s which is where we should be this time of year.
We spent a restful weekend at the camper doing little of nothing but eating and relaxing. There are new pictures in my journal.
As it is Monday, I do have to show up at work today, but I’ll be dreaming of this time next year when hopefully I will be retired and can just sit back and enjoy the nice days as we have them.

The king summoned the best diamond experts in the land to correct the blemish, but they all agreed they could not remove the scratch without cutting away a good part of the surface, thus reducing the weight and value of the diamond. Finally one expert appeared and assured him that he could fix the diamond without reducing its value.

It was a difficult climb for me to get over the middle of this work week. Thankfully I did make it and if you’re reading this I would say you did too.

If you are a gambler, you will just love this day. Today is Take a Chance Day. This sounds pretty risky (but fun) to me........
Life is filled with risks. To get what you want, sometimes you have to take a chance. And, today is created to do just that. Today is the day to take a chance on virtually any object or goal. Will it be love? will it be luck? Or, just lollipops? We hope you fully participate in this day, and that you attain everything you seek. So go ahead and take a chance. Note: If you are going to take a chance at winning the lottery, we suggest you only buy one ticket. After all, everyone is going to take a chance today, so the odds are really low

Common symptoms of DND include the following: Calling children by each other's names, forgetting the proper names for common household objects, and casually referring to other adults not as "John and Jane" but as "those people with the pool who barbecue every Friday." Another common symptom is the frequent use of the WRONG noun in a given situation, rather like mild aphasia.
