Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

You are right - six more weeks of winter! OH NO!
After a brutal week of sub-freezing temps, I'm happy to be able to say we're no longer advised to drip faucets ... the sun's shining and the roads are dry.
The only forecasters I listen to are those at our local NBC affiliate. Not only are they pretty smart but have great senses of humor.
(I don't know WHERE it came from, but this morning when I was doing dishes I began singing, "June is busting out all over" from Carousel. "But it's coming by gum!")
Yep Myra is right! and the Punxsutawney Phil thing is fun and interesting. Wo much so we had to drive thru the small town once just to see it. I twas not during the famous spring event thought. Glad one of your family made the event though. interesting. Love ya
