Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day - this is a good one. What would we do without them? You don't have to slow down by schools in Texas? That is amazing.
I agree this day should be remembered, always. I have had friends in law enforcement and I KNEW they were part of the GOOD GUYS. I admire those young men and women who aim to join law enforcement. Good for them..

What a shame, this is the first I heard about Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. I so wish people would stop worrying about the police checking their speed and driving habits and recognize them with a big smile and sincere appreciation for all they do on our behalf.
