Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I like to read this at your blog beginning: The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades.
Always an uplift. Not a fan of REAL spicy food. I smile because I was an adult before I even heard of 'Jalapeno' peppers! They B TOO hot for me. LOL
Celebrate today and try a few hot spices in your food
I am not a fan of spicy or hot food either. Burns my stomach. My husband loves it. Have fun in Florida. I am surprised it is warmer than Texas.
You know I am having chili and cornbread for supper! I like mine on the mild side too. It is still spicy, not just knock your head off spicy. LOL.
I so love hot/spicy, but I chalk that up to growing up in New Mexico and living in Texas so many years. I'm curious if any of your Texas family members enjoy the hot/spicy.
I'm so excited for your upcoming Winter vacation!
