Today is Homemade Cookies Day which celebrates cookies you make at home. Cookies originated from Extra cake batter that Dutch bakers experimented with cooking at varying oven temperature. Eventually they got it right, realized how yummy they are, and named these tiny cakes, cookies.
There are a lot of types of cookies: chocolate chip, peanut butter, nuts, sprinkles, there are too many to name them all.
Celebrate Today and make homemade cookies or find a new recipe to try!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
C is for cookie that’s good enough for me.
Cookie Monster
I don’t eat many cookies due to their sugar count, but do love them. When the babes were growing up, I baked a lot of them and they ate a lot of cookies too. I called my youngest son, the cookie monster as he’s loved cookies so much.
My favorite cookies were Pecan Sandies, Yum! But I’d never turn down a chocolate chip cookie either. However, the only cookies I have Belvita Cookies, that are a breakfast cookie that I usually eat every morning as I need to take my meds with food. I prefer the oatmeal ones.
Looks to be another beautiful day here, and we have another football game to go to for my grandson. Years ago, when I went to football games at school we wore coats and took blankets with us, but not so here, as we remain in the 90’s!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Celebrate today and enjoy your favorite cookies! Yum!
Home baked cookies are one of my favorite memories! I'm so glad you can find almost every kind in the grocer's aisle ... almost as affordable as making them at home. Our favorite is white chocolate macadamia, but I try to resist eating them very often.
Good luck to your X-factor at the football game!
Have fun at the football game - hope he wins.
So, I just love cookies - I know they are not good for you. But homemade chocolate chip cookies - yum.
