Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and tell a story to someone you know!
When I was a little girl, I spent 2 weeks in hospital. No TV, no books. Few visitors. One day, a woman came in with an armful of books. She was the local librarian. For me, she was an angel. Since then, story telling and those who share stories are sent from heaven.
How is your Cutie Patootie doing?
I would love to tell stories - but no one wants to hear them here. lol
I, too, am wondering how Cutie Patootie's legs are doing?
Homespun stories are the best! I hope with the advent of AI + parents' busy lifestyles, those narratives don't go away.
You said a mouthful in remembering you r mom and dads tales and WISHING you had asked more questions, don't we all? Not sure story telling is a big thing anymore with so much TV and phone STUFF. I see the ggrands like games more that stories. BUT I think they would LIKE stories. Maybe I will try more..
Love you cowgirl take care..
Thank you for a cheerful and happy post. Yes, it is important to tell our children and grand-children of our lives in the past. Personal history is important.
God bless.
