Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Dressing up your pet is a fun thing to do. Show them how much you love them and reward them with a treat !
There's little to beat our pups in costume. What angels they are to put up with their hoomans' whims. As much as I'd like to indulge, the only 'dress up' happening here are our girls' winter coats with animal faces on the back.
I hope you enjoy a great visit with DS #6 and family, and they find somethingS memorable to rehome!
Never knew there was a dress up your pets day. Guess there's probably a day set aside for almost everything nowdays. Polish the dull side....I really liked that, and must remember that one. I'm counting down the days til spring also. Winter and I just don't see eye to eye. Stay warm. Popped in from a mutual friends blog. It's always fun to find new bloggers.

Well, I guess it will be a good day for you to do some packing since it is so cold. When we had our dog - we would try to put him in a sweater on cold days - but when we did - he refused to move in it - it was a statue! lol I miss him.
